The foot of Megaron Terra is in steel, covered in thermoplastic synthetic resin. The stem comes in versions with enameled or shiny anodized aluminum.

The Megaron standing lamp was designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1979 for the Italian designer lighting manufacturer Artemide.

The lighting is indirect.
The light can be dimmed.
